Any electrical, mechanical or electromechanical product with an ETL inspection mark indicates that it has been tested to meet relevant industry standards. Factory inspection of ETL

Before issuing the certificate, ETL needs to conduct factory inspection, and then it will follow up factory inspection at irregular time every quarter. Besides the factory inspection fee, it also needs to pay the certificate and license fee quarterly. If necessary, inspectors may witness the retest of the product or test it in the laboratory after sampling. Licensees must enter into a legal contract (service agreement) with ETL which clearly defines the responsibilities of the manufacturer and the conditions for the use of successive ETL lists and ETL marks.
