CB system (IEC system for qualification testing and certification of electrical products) is an international system operated by IECEE. The safety performance of electrical products is tested by certification bodies of IECEE member countries on the basis of IEC standards, and the test results, namely, CB test report and CB test certificate, are mutually recognized by each member country of IECEE. The aim is to reduce international trade barriers that arise from having to meet certification or approval criteria in different countries. IECEE is the international electrotechnical commission electrical products qualification testing and certification organization

Scope of certification

The products covered by the CB system are products within the scope of IEC standards recognized by the IECEE system, and there are 16 categories.

1) battery (BATT);

2) cable (CABL);

3) capacitors (caps) as components;

4) automatic controller (CONT) for appliance switches and household appliances;

5) energy efficiency (E3);

6) electric vehicle (ELVH);

7) household and similar equipment (HOUS);

8) install accessories and connection devices (INST);

9) lighting equipment (LITE);

10) miscellaneous class (MISC);

11) information technology and office equipment (OFF);

12) low-voltage high-power switching equipment (POW);

13) install protection equipment (PROT);

14) safety transformers and similar equipment (SAFE);

15) portable power TOOL;

16) electronic entertainment equipment (TRON).

Certification application process:

1. Submit the application form to the laboratory, prepare the sample, sign the contract and pay the advance payment.

2. Test and report, preliminary review of materials, time: 2 weeks.

3.NCB agency: final audit, certification, payment balance payment. Time: 1-2 weeks. (partners: tuv-rh, tuv-sud BV, ITS, etc.)
