Scope of certification
KCC certification involves products such as computers and peripherals terminal equipment, wire line terminal equipment and radio communication equipment using radio frequency. The Korea radio institute is the agency that conducts the certification, with 37 authorized laboratories. The standards for certification are FCC, CISPR and IEC 60950.
KCC certification classification equipment
Types of electrical communication equipment and materials telephone, modem, fax machine etc. are approved for telecom testing and electrical safety testing (EMI and EMS testing according to the equipment)
Type verification test of radio equipment (RRA test only)

Among them, EMC requirements stipulate two grades:
Class A equipment: used for commercial purposes.

03. Materials to be submitted for KCC certification
Application for safety certification of electrical appliances (compulsory product);
Application for self-disciplinary safety confirmation of electrical appliances and self-disciplinary safety confirmation statement of electrical appliances (self-disciplinary products);
1) list of parts that directly affect safety;
2) electrical circuit diagram;
3) transformer specifications (for related products);
4) list of insulation materials (temperature, pressure resistance or fire resistance grade, etc.);
5) product certificate (including Korean product certificate);
6) tags;
7) certificate of authorization of the agent (required for compulsory products; It is necessary to apply for the self-regulated products by the agent);
8) business license
